Ram Wissel
Vice President, Global Technology

Ram Wissel is a process-driven, innovative engineer with a passion for developing “greener” cleaning solutions that enhance wash process efficiency while reducing environmental impact. His work focuses on advancing technologies that control, contain, and recycle materials—helping KYZEN customers operate more reliably and sustainably while lowering costs.
Since joining KYZEN in 1998, Ram has played a pivotal role in the development of groundbreaking systems to monitor, manage, and control cleaning agents, including the KYZEN Analyst2, PCS, Demister, Kapture, and other first-in-class innovations.
Today, he leads KYZEN’s global applications and analytical lab teams, as well as regulatory compliance efforts, driving the integration of more efficient and environmentally responsible technologies. He often jokes that PFAS has replaced VOC as his favorite acronym.
Known for his high-energy and hands-on leadership style, Ram is a frequent presenter at SMTA technical talks and training seminars throughout the Americas, Asia, and Europe. He also contributed to the development of IPC-1402, Standard for Greener Cleaners Used in Electronic Manufacturing.
Before rejoining KYZEN in 2011, Ram served as a consulting engineer at the Callaway Energy Center. There, his meticulous attention to detail and technical persistence earned him Ameren’s Presidential Performance Leadership Award for resolving critical concerns raised by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
Ram holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arkansas and brings over two decades of expertise in precision cleaning and process control. His commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customer success continues to shape KYZEN’s global technology strategy.
