Q: Is METALNOX M6357 effective on steel parts?

A: Yes. It will clean steel and aluminum, so you do not have to worry about compatibility.

Q: Will M6357 work in an immersion process?

A: Yes. It works better in an immersion process. If you have an ultrasonic system, that would be even better, especially if there is carbon buildup.

Q: Does it effectively remove carbonaceous soils?

A: Yes. It is very effective in removing burnt-on carbon deposits.

Q: Does it brighten aluminum cases?

A: It does remove oxides, but it does not give it a bright look.

Q: Does M6357 impact common plastics in remanufacturing?

A: Our technical supplement includes a compatibility table. If you have a specific plastic that is not listed, KYZEN can conduct compatibility testing. Some current customers reuse seals and gaskets, running them through the washer, and it has not been a problem. They even run Tupperware through the machine, and it has not been an issue. However, we would not recommend this because those baskets tend to cause a lot of drag out.
