Electronics Cleaning Process Control – Which Method is Right for You?

I have choices?
–Charlie Pitarys

Read the condensed Q&A below and watch our full 10-minute presentation video for in-depth advice from one of our techs:

What is the best way to obtain a sample for refractometer testing?
One of the best ways that I like to recommend, and this will avoid opening up a hot wash tank, is to use a kit we put together called the sample port. This is just a simple gate valve that we can tap in off the wash pump or somewhere near a spray bar. We could provide you with the information to install one of those or we can also put a kit together for you. You could reach out to me and I will be happy to assist you with that.

How can I find more information on the KYZEN Analyst?
On the KYZEN website you will see a tab marked “process care”, if you click on that it will bring you to another web page with information on the KYZEN Analyst. You can also reach out to us. Call, email, or use the “contact us” feature on the website and we will get back in touch with you.

Can the KYZEN PCS work on your competitor’s wash chemistry?
Maybe. That is the honest answer. There will be an engineering charge to ensure that the KYZEN PCS can connect and really monitor the competitor’s chemistry. If this does come to fruition and you decide that it is right for you, the unit itself will be sealed because of proprietary information within the KYZEN PCS. Just to keep it away from prying eyes from our competitors.

Where can I find the control chart for my specific product?
The control charts are available in the technical supplement for each chemistry. Once again, if you reach out to us by calling in direct or through the website, we can assist you. If you request a technical supplement for your specific chemistry, we will quickly send that to you. If you have any questions, by all means you can call me directly.
