Q: Why is IPA still used for the USW process?
A: Perception. It is believed to be effective & low cost BUT it is not an effective cleaning solvent for most solder pastes and when all factors considered usually results in increased total cost of operation. It is also a flammable material and not recommended by printer companies.
Q: Can the same engineered cleaning agent be used in our offline stencil cleaner?
A: In many cases yes, but it will depend on the system you have.
Q: Which are better, water or solvent based products?
